Oakland Nature Preserve is proud to offer outdoor nature and science experiences to homeschool individuals and groups. Bring just your students to the Preserve for a regularly scheduled homeschool class or schedule a group class. Monthly Homeschool Series Class for individuals ages 6-8, 9-12 Please check dates for class age group. $12 members (family membership required) / Student $14 non-members / student NEW for Spring 2026 - we will offer each age class twice monthly - once on Monday mornings and once on Thursday afternoons. It is the same topic, please choose only one session for the age group. This exciting once a month program (per age group) gives homeschool students hands-on science experience to reinforce topics and skills being taught at home. This program is drop-off only, 2 hours in length and is limited to 16 students (8 student minimum). |

Do you have a homeschool group that would like to take a class together?
To schedule your homeschool group in a private class, please contact our Education Coordinator at education@oaklandnaturepreserve.org. We may be able to accommodate groups larger than 16 participants depending on staff availability. All children and parents that are staying with their child(ren) are considered participants.
