Join us for what could be West Orange county's only nighttime Jack-o-lantern hike. Bring your flash lights and lanterns 'cause its dark in them there woods.
Want to dress in costume? Go right ahead! This is a family friendly event so please dress and act accordingly.
Our Sponsors will have trick-or-treat stations and we will have some cool critters out.

We want to display your talent! Make them fun, make them scary, the choice is yours!
Want to paint your pumpkin? Great! We will add your creation to the Painted Pumpkin Patch!
Please let us know you want to bring a Jack-o-lantern or painted pumpkin by completing a free registration. Registration opens September 1!
Join us the evening of October 22 to carve pumpkins on the porch and greet our Ambassador Salamander Dart!

Admission information to be posted in the summer. We are changing the process this year and it is going to be a ticketed event.
To promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin's ecosystems and cultural history, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve.
