Calling All Jack-o-lantern Enthusiasts
We want to display your talent! Make them fun, make them scary, the choice is yours!
The Painted Pumpkin Patch will be for our young pumpkin enthusiasts.
Please let us know you want to bring a Jack-o-lantern or painted pumpkin by completing a free registration. Please note that we are asking pumpkin artists to use natural/biodegradable decorations in their natural pumpkins this year as we strive for increased sustainability.
Join us the evening of October 22 to carve pumpkins on the porch and greet our Ambassador Salamander Dart!
Admission To better serve our visitors and manage the flow of parking, we are changing to a timed ticketed event with 3 time slots each evening. Onsite tickets will only be possible if timeslots do not sell out. Members = FREE Individuals = $5 per person Families = $13 for a family of 3 or more that share a household Proceeds from the event benefit the mission of Oakland Nature Preserve: "To promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin's ecosystems and cultural history, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve. " |
